Tiger Care at the Bronx Zoo

Exercising mind and body is an essential part of animal care at the Bronx Zoo. The Wildlife Conservation Society's Animal Enrichment Program is at the forefront of developing innovative ways to enrich animals's lives.  

Enrichment techniques are grouped into five categories that, taken as a whole, address everything animals need-- from where they live to what they eat to how they spend their day. The types of enrichment are:
